In an effort to raise some funds for going back to uni, I've decided to try to sell some of my work. It's an odd feeling - I've never attempted to sell any pieces done purely for my own enjoyment; previously I've sold comissioned work, but that feels different. Somehow, knowing from the start that it is meant for someone else makes it easier. Selling something conjured spontaneously, unbidden, is more personal - it is therefore harder to part with, but also more meaningful when someone else appreciates it enough to pay for it. However, how do I put a price on that?
